You might want to try dropping a PM to BethC. She and her family had a great experience on the Family Magic Tour . :)

We did the Family Magic Tour in MK on Sunday, 9/30. It wasn't a behind the scenes kind if thing. 2 DSs, 8yo & 9 yo, had a great time! We were told that everyone was expected to participate, but DH & I pretty much just watched & video taped. There was only a 3yo girl & her parents with us. Lots of walking, but even more fun. I would recommend it to anyone. I'll answer any specific questions you have.

We did this last April and it was fantastic!! It's more of an adventure than a tour. You go on a hunt through the Magic Kingdom by following clues. Along the way you do all kinds of crazy things (act like your favorite character, skip, hop, jump, play follow the leader, etc.) There's a great surprise at the end when you get to meet up with one or two of the characters. We had our own private meet and greet with Snow White and Aladdin, it was amazing!! Then they took us to the front of the line on Snow White and we got to ride with the characters, it was a perfect ending to a really fun day, the kids are still talking about it!

Do you need reservations for the tour, or do you just show up?? This sounds like something my 3 year old would love.

You need a ressie. I think you call 407-WDW-PLAY. It cost us about $75 for 2A and 2C. Well worth it! I would give up whatever I had to ie. character meals, to do it again.
