Family friendly Hilton head resorts

my DD is currently in the DCP. She was offered an opportunity to do the DCP at Disney’s Hilton Head resort! We would love to visit her while she’s there, however the actual Disney resort is completely booked.

Looking for a fun nice family friendly resort to stay for 5 or 6 nights. Close to the beach, nice pools etc.

I’m completely unfamiliar with this area so any info you can send my way would be much appreciated!

We got to Hilton Head every summer. We rent a condo through VRBO in Palmetto Dunes. The complex we always rent in is called The Moorings and although the condos aren't beach front, it is just a walk across the parking lot to the beach.

Palmetto Dunes is great! There are tons of rentals in different so called neighborhoods. Any of them are terrific and the beach for Disney’s Hilton Head Resort is actually located here. Disney’s actual resort is further from the beach than Palmetto Dunes.

Some areas we have stayed in there are Queens Grant, Fazio Villas, Villamare and The Moorings. Really can’t go wrong with any of them.

We love HH and will be there for April school vacation week.

Last summer, we stayed at the Omni Hilton Head which is located within Palmetto Dunes. The kids had a blast! The Omni is right on the beach with a great pool. We rented bikes which was fun! We got a package which included breakfast. Our room had a mini kitchenette which came in handy! I would definitely recommend this resort. We would not hestitate to go again this year but it’s time for Disney!

Edited to add...if traveling without kids, they have an adult only pool!
