Sorry I'm not even sure how to title this post! OK so I have a family of 5. Let's say we're at Epcot in WS. This question is in regard to Quick Service only.

I'm in the mood for Moroccan, dh wants Chinese and kids want Italian. Or whatever. Are we able to purchase our meals from different QS restaurants and eat together?

1. Is it allowed?

2. Is it feasible?

Are we stuck all eating the same thing or can we "travel the world" for lunch? I haven't been to WDW in a long time so I don't really remember the distance between the various countries in WS?

The distance is pretty far from your places. We usually do a Mexico, Norway, China and meet at one to eat. They aren't too far apart and we just meet at one and carry the food there. You could probably do 3 countries side to side of each other but going beyond that would be quite a walk with food and all.

I don't think it would be a problem if you picked places that were close to each other. Japan, Morroco, and France might work too.

Yes you can all eat at different locations and you can bring other locations food into another QS location. You might even find that a 4th location works best, like America. The Liberty Inn has a lot of seating and it's indoors (great for a/c to get out of the heat :sunny: or get out of the rain :umbrella:.) We have gotten a treat at the Fife and Drum Tavern and then taken it into the LI to enjoy it. Never had a problem. We've also gotten meals at Kringla (Norway ) and in Mexico and enjoyed them together in the new Mexico pavillon.

1. sure

2. be aware most of the places will not have things like take out containers or cup holders so you will be carting trays around.

As the PPs have said, you are allowed to take your CS food with you and eat where you'd like. Most all of the CS places have somewhere to sit down and eat, so you can probably pick a central location and eat there. Some places have more extensive seating than others (e.g., Liberty Inn and La Cantina have a goodly number of tables, whereas France, Germany, and UK do not have as many).

It's about 1.2 miles around World Showcase. So if you picked three very spread out locations, someone(s) might end up having to walk a pretty good distance with their drink and food.

Overall, I would try and group the locations. The countries are: Mexico, Norway, China, (a bit of a gap), Germany, Italty, US, Japan, Morocco, France, UK, Canada. Staging at the US is a pretty good option, unless someone is getting their food in UK/Canada or Mexico/Norway.

DD and I will get food from the Boulangerie Patisserie (France) and haul it over to the Liberty Inn (America) where DH and DS eat. The pastry shop has boxes/bags, so it is pretty easy to do it from there, but as mentioned, most places do not have to go boxes.

1) Yes, it's allowed.

2) It is feasible to the point that most of the CS do not provide "to go" packaging and you will likely have to carry the meals from place to place on paper plates.

I've told this a couple of times on the board but our most interesting experience was watching a group of about 13 people with a mission. We were back at the Liberty Inn outdoor seating area and the group sent out each person to get something at a different country and then bring it back so the entire party could enjoy it. So you had every country in World Showcase represented and then all of the participants just dug into what they wanted. They had appetizers, entrees and desserts so all were happy.
