Family Birthday party at DL?

Hello - I hoping that someone will know about this. We are going to DL this month. Our DS who will be turning 8 wants to celebrate his birthday there (his birthday really isn't until November, but we can't go then). Now I have seen that they have somekind of birthday celebration place inside the park just to the right as you enter tomorrowland. Does anybody know how this works? Can you just reserve a little family party for five or is it for bigger birthdays? Also does it have to be your true birthday day? I know he would love to do this if I can figure it out in time! TIA

The Plaza Inn does a birthday party, where kids decorate cakes and Mickey and Minnie make an appearance. We did this for our daughters 4th last year and were going to do it for our our sons birthday next month. We just made reservations for a tour instead and the CM I spoke with said the tour would be PERFECT. Here's a link to the birthday info.

I also read somewhere about a Buzz Lightyear party at the park, but can't remember where I read this???

Make reservations as soon as you decide what day you want to do the party. I believe it is 10.00 for each person, you are with others celebrating as well, and weekdays there is only one time they have it and maybe two on weekends...

They also have a Birthday Bucket you can purchase and add to a meal at some of the restaurants, believe the cost is 20.00. Info can be found on DL web site.

And they also have a Goffy's Birthday Bag. I think cost is 5.00 and info on this can also be found on the DL web site....

and NO, it does not have to be your actual birthDAY....and be sure to pick up a Birthday Sticker name tag at City Hall. Your son will get a lot more attention from everyone throughout the day and you never know what kind of surpries!
