The last time I did a Port Adventure with a lunch tacked onto it, it was Jost Van Dyke. The lunch sucked.

I am now facing a similar choice on our first visit to Falmouth - a trip to Dunn's River Falls with an optional lunch. The "with lunch" option is $11 more, adds an hour to the excursion's estimated duration and is advertised as "an authentic Jamaican-style jerk chicken lunch".

For those who have done this - is the lunch worth it? Or in retrospect, is it better to get back to the ship an hour earlier and eat at Cabanas, poolside quick-service or room service?

Thank you!

We did the falls and bobsled. I think it's the same lunch. The lunch is OK. It's middle of the road jerk chicken. It wasn't very spicy though. I think they also had rice and peas/beans and maybe a couple of sides. They also had hot dogs, maybe burgers, lemonade, and punch. It wasn't very memorable. I would have preferred to eat at the ship, but it was already included in our tour There wasn't a no food option for ours. We didn't eat much.

We did the Dunn's River Falls with lunch this past March (and are actually going back again this March because we had so much fun) and we enjoyed the lunch and felt it was well worth it because we were the first tour bus to arrive there and the first to leave so we didnt have to wait in lines and had a tour guide all to ourselves. I hope you guys have just as much fun as we did.

thank you for asking this question...that was my thought too...also, we are doing the sky explorer ride...if we do the waterfall, I thought I read there are lockers, but does that mean after I climb to the top we have to walk to the bottom to get our items out of the lockers? I am just a very detailed planner and that doesn't make sense to me. HELP

We did the bobsledding and waterfalls this April and lunch was included. For the adults, the plate consisted of rice, Jamaican jerk chicken, cole slaw, and some kind of fish. They did not allow seconds, as a lady in line in front of us got recognized by the server and they told her everyone was allowed one plate. That said, when they were loading our plates, my husband asked for a bit of extra rice, and that was accommodated. For the kids, they didn't let them get food from the adult line, which really bummed my kids out; they wanted the Jamaican food as well. Each kid got one hot dog and a side of fries, no seconds allowed in the kids' line either.

Well, that settles that. Thanks for the scoop!
