Disclaimer: This is still a rumor. Not fact. But an educated rumor. Take it for what it's worth and don't plan your life around it- not yet.

Al Lutz released this info (again, still in rumor stage):

7/24: As summer rolls along, World of Color's popularity is growing by the week, DCA dinner sales are huge despite the weak economy, and Fastpasses are selling out earlier each day. With all that good news, Team Disney Anaheim is getting very close to entirely banishing the 6PM weekday closing times in the off-season that DCA has had for the past decade. Later this week TDA should give the final blessing to year-round 8PM weekday closing times in the off-season, beginning this September, with at least one World of Color show performed daily on weekdays at 8:15PM. The weekend hours at DCA this fall will offer at least a 10PM closing with multiple shows per night. In the meantime, TDA really needs to get the reservation agents at the 781-DINE line to stop telling callers that World of Color gets shut down completely after Labor Day and goes "seasonal", as nothing could be further from the truth. There's got to be a better way to phrase that. - Al Lutz

It is still a rumor, but it's one I would believe more easily. I don't think any of us really thought that WoC was disappearing after Labor Day or even in off-peak season. Disney has sunk way too much money and press into WoC to let it fade into the mist when September rolls around. They have practically shifted half of the focus of DCA over to all things WoC.

all though it is still a rumor it is a great rumor - hopes it's true

It's just still a rumor, but it is good news to hear for everyone going in September.

That would be great, since I have a trip planned for the end of Oct. I tend to agree with the notion that Disney has sunk way too much time and money into WoC to just slow down or stop after Labor Day. Let's hope this rumor is true.

That makes alot more sense than closing the thing or only having it on weekends..

I really hope this is true - we switched our WDW and DL trips around and are now going to DL the end of September. I was a little miffed that after Labor Day it's not scheduled - I mean, it JUST came out!
