Can anyone confirm or give more info on the Fall Value Rate? It says on Jeff Spencer's site that you can get the Fall Value Rate for $134 at Fort Wilderness, but when we asked for the rate, they said they didn't know anything about it. Our trip is Dec 1-5.

Sadly, I think that rate was the name for a code that has since been pulled. :(

I tried several times to get the "FALL Value Rate" for the cabins at FT. Wilderness. There is no such thing!!! CRO wants you to use a code to get the special rate. I just read off all the codes in mousesavers that came close to the 134 rate until the CM said that's it that's the one I was waiting for. The code is no longer valid. But, check with mousesavers.com for any updates. GOOD LUCK in finding the best deal!!!

This post just reminded me that I love FW cabins, so I just called for a rate/reservation for Nov 10th-13....short trip, and I was given a AAA rate of $194.33 a nite including taxes. I will have to think about it a little more so I haven't booked it yet. Hope it helps someone.

Denisenh, Have you tried to get an annual passholders discount? It would be worth buying the AP if you don't already have one...

Yes...I am thinking about it.....Thanks for the post, it may help me decide!!

just recieved the $134 rate which is an AP rate for the week between christmas and new years. So the rate is there but for AP's only.

Thanks for the info joycemarie! I am guessing that the AP rate doesn't include taxes but even with taxes I'd save $147 on those 3 nights, so that would be worth it, seeing as how we'd be getting parkhoppers anyway. I am trying to undisney myself but I am not being very successful at it. If I buy one AP can I get 3 more using some kind of AP discount?

I booked our trip at the Cabins with AP discount of 149.00 including tax a night for this Oct. I called tonight and ordered my annual pass and for the premium Pass with a Disney Club discount it was 479.00. The Disney Club card is the only discount you can use to buy your passes.

DeniseNH, you are trying to UnDisney yourself? You poor thing!! I think you're visiting the wrong website though!!! You can also get a 4 park annual pass, they are about 350 a piece with the DC discount... Good luck trying to resist, I just couldn't do it!!

Wow...$350 for and AP! That is not bad. Yes, I am trying to undisney myself so that I can see other parts of the earth while on vacation but WDW seems to win out. This Nov. will be my 4th trip in a year but its like a big mental magnet pulls me there. I try to not think about WDW but then I decide "I'll just check up on deals floating around the DIS" and "I'll just check on airfare and car rental rates" and before you know it I am staring at Cinderellas castle. We will be making another trip there in February 2002. :D
Well, back to topic...that DC and AP sound like the way to go!! Thanks!!

Hi Denisenh... You poor thing, you just have to accept your Disney desires!! Now, if you have been 4 times in a year, why haven't you bought an AP already??? Sounds like now is the time!!!

For the sake of not seeming entirely dumb....it was really accidental, and also to explain to newbies how NOT to do things heres what I did: We planned one trip for Feb. 2001, as that is the time of year that we would nomally go. I bought our 6 day park hoppers plus through Ticket Res. for that Feb. trip in Nov. 2000 and they arrived in the mail real quick. We had just planned that one trip BUT we ended up going spur of the moment for 3 nights to AS in December 2000 (great airfare, couldn't resist), we used 2 days of our parkhoppers and went to MVMCP our night of arrival. Then for our 7 night Feb 2001 trip we used the remaining 4 days on our passes and made a trip to Miami beach one day and had relax at the pool time as well.
Then, we went on a spur of the moment trip in April 2001. No parks for us! We planned just to relax at CSR (couldn't resist the code discount of $89.) We did relax at CSR and had a great time....BUT one morning I woke up and said "Lets just go to the magic kingdom" So it was 1 day 1 park passes, as we were trying to undisney ourselves. We planned to take a trip to Key West or the Caribbean for our Feb. 2002 vacation. Well, when I booked this flight for November 2001, MHT to Tampa we were planning on going to Busch Gardens and explore that area. And we still may, I guess. But slowly things are becoming more Disney and I just don't know. And we are thinking Disney for our Feb. vacation now as well.
This may benefit folks sitting on the fence, AP or Parkhoppers.... But I do still have our pluses left on our passes! Really, I could have and should have had AP's for all of us and would have spent less. I am also guilty of having 8 night LOS passes in Feb.1999! Oh, the pain of it all.

I did get the fall rate but i had the code from mousesavers it was 154 a night with taxes
i leave one week from today im sooooo excited. I am not an ap holder either.
