Fall Promos?

So new here to DL thread. We are WDW vets, but are taking our first trip west in October. I see most of the current promos end in April, does DL historically offer any discounts on packages or tickets for fall? When would these be released?

In the fall season last year, the DLR promo was $400 off DLR vacation packages of 4 days/4 nights or longer. It included a minimum 4 night stay at one of the 3 DLR hotels, a minimum 4 day park hopper pass, plus all of the perks of a DLR vacation package (Toontown Morning Madness, Magic Mornings (Early Entry to DL), Character call, DTA pin and lanyard, and preferred seating at select DCA shows). I believe you had to stay at one of the 3 DLR hotels (at DLR, you can book vacation packages through the Disney Travel Agency and can opt to stay at off-site "good neighbor" hotels instead. You get the same park passes and vacation package perks, but you're paying a lower total price becuase you're staying "off-site". However I'm not sure if the $400 off applied to packages where you would stay at "good neighbor" hotels).

i just got my new GAT mag and summer specials looks like buy 3 get 2 free on hoppers and hotel for travel 5/1/10 - 09/30/10 available for purchase 3/16 thru 9/1 HTH

What is GAT?

So does this mean on 3/16, they will extend the 5 for 3? I'm going in May and have been hoping for this to come along!

On 3/16 you can book thru GAT a pkg. for travel between 5/1/10 to 9/30/10

Makes me think I can talk hubby into another trip this summer....ummmm.. better get started on that!!

Actually we went late last sept thru getawaytoday.com and got the 5 for 3 deal on a good neighboor hotel. It was 5 nights hotel and 5 days in the park for the price of 3 nights and a 3 day parkhopper. We stayed at the Red Lion Anaheim just down the block on Harbor.

It looked to me at first like you were saying it had to be a Disney hotel but you may just have been talking about having to buy the overall (tickets and hotel) package.

Is the Buy 3 get 2 just a deal that Getaway Travel is offering or it available to everyone? I just booked through AAA and wondering if they can get me the deal?
