Fall PINS, anyone?

From November until early February I received two or three different PINS for spring/summer trips. Nothing extravagant but since we are hoping for a 2016 trip it was nice to see I was offered deals. The problem of course with Disney PINS is they are dated, and our family holiday time is specific. So the PINS always fell outside our holiday and I could not book.

We are hoping to book a 7 day trip, arriving August 27. I see all current discounts run until August 25 so my dates will be the next batch. What I am wondering is whether PINS follow the same release dates? Should I look into one for my dates now, or are current PINS being offered until August 25 as well? Since they were so generous with PINS during dates when I could not go do I stand a chance of receiving one for the dates I want, or will they have given up on me?

i have the same question. i received a pin code offer this feb for stays 5/30/16 - 8/25/16 ( up to 30% off resort and hopper upgrade) - book through 5/24/16. Now the prior pin code offer i received was in oct 2015 for stays up through 6/ 7/16 (travel stays for current pin code overlaps the prior pin code) and a book through 1/26/16. I am wondering if i hold out, may i receive a free dinning pin code? I would have to go in Aug though due to my kids being in school...end of aug will still work ( last 2 pin codes had an overlapping stay date) ...what do you all think?

Also, are pin codes generally a better deal or is the "deal" that a pin code recipient gets the deal sooner than the general public?

Yes and no. Pin codes often come out sooner than general public discounts, but not always. Pin codes often include resorts that the general public offer excludes, but not always. Pin codes aren't always the best deal, but other times there are.

There is no way to sign up. It is random that people get them. Some say by having an account on disney world.com and sending the for the vacation planning dvd and a few others things gives you a better chance of getting a pin but I'm not sure. I have gotten an occasional code but not too many. Good luck
