In case you haven't heard...the CTDPT - Connecticut Disney Pin Traders are putting together a very fun event.
It should be called a Pin-A-Thon. There will be 24 straight hours of pin trading starting around noon on Saturday, Oct 19th.
It is being held at a Residence Inn in Southington, CT. I just booked my reservation and got some good info from the front desk.
The Residence Inn has 94 "suites" in total and approximately 20 of them are Studios with one queen size bed and a Jacuizzi. Guess what I booked???

The rate was $129.00 for the night, which is a little steep, but Catherine won't be able to go, so I thought this could be a nice romantic night away from home. Missy, myself and 50 other pin traders. :lol
Mario aka Buzz 2001 just sent me the following in an email.

We (the CT contingent) visited the Residence Inn on Sunday. It is very nice. Like I stated earlier it is brand new so when you first walk in you get that "like new" smell from everything.
Once inside, there is a large breakfast area on the left with a fireplace, couches, TV and about 25 tables of 4. This is where they serve there continental breakfast from 7:00a to
10:00am so on Sunday morning, the only people that can officically be in there are guests staying at the Inn otherwise we can use that area all night long.
We are also getting the Connecticut Room for trading and activities such as pin bingo as well. This room probably holds a good 50 people depending how the tables are arranged. It is right next to the breakfast area. Cynthia is getting a suite for late night trading. The jacuzzi rooms are nice as well. We toured the whole place. They were all really nice
there. I don't think there are many of the jacuzzi rooms so book early if you definitely want one. They have an indoor pool and hot tub. Tables out on the patio with a BBQ grill for those that want to trade outside if it is a nice fall evening. All of these areas are within 50 ft of each other.
Nice setup.

Hope to see you all there,
