I haven't come across any special fall treats yet, so I was wondering if there was any place in WDW to get something with a nice pumpkin or spiced apple flavor... Where should I try to find something?

I know lots of food items are decorated to look Halloween-y, but I am looking more for festive flavors, like in baked goods or specialty dishes, not just candy corn or ordinary cupcakes with orange sprinkles. Know what I mean?

My family was there 2 weeks ago and the Crystal Palace had Pumpkin Cheesecake that was too!!! die for!!! I talked about it all week:) YUM!!!!

That sounds wonderful!!! We have a late breakfast ADR there... Wonder if they'd actually have it out then...?

I would love ton know this too because I love fall foods! I know the F&W has pumpkin mousse

I had a couple amazing pear desserts at the signature restaurants last October. Both Flying Fish and California Grill's pastry chefs made great use of pears. I think Le Cellier's maple crème brûlée is also very autumnal.

Do you like Fudge? At the sweets shop by Main Street Bakery, I had some pumpkin fudge last week. It was delicious! They also had cupcakes with cinnamon frosting. While those may not be "seasonal" they were particularly good.

We just tried this on Wednesday and it was delish! It has orange sauce, spice cake, pumpkin mousse and craisins.

It's tiny, dessert "shooter" size. At only $1.50, pay OOP and buy 2.

Sounds perfect! Is that a record for the least expensive dessert in Disney? LOL

Where exactly do I find this??? Epcot is a big place!

It's in front of the American Pavilion, the same booth as the lobster rolls. DH and I liked it. Our only complaint was that it was very small. We did pay cash and had one each.

The booth is called "hops and barley"

Last weekend I had a wonderful butternut squash & pumpkin soup at Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. It was broth-based (no cream) and very tasty. Yum!

I also spotted an addition of pumpkin spice funnel cakes to the menu of one of the funnel cake stands. I *think* it was the one in front of American Adventure at Epcot but I'm not certain. I didn't get a chance to try it.

Ghiradelli at DTD has some pumpkin spice chocolates, and also you can get some other yummy pumpkin items in the soda shop. The Candy Cauldron had pumpkin fudge. Baby Cakes has pumpkin donuts and pumpkin cupcakes.

They had those last year. They were INCREDIBLY expensive. Didn't try it. If I remember correctly it was like eight or nine bucks for a funnel cake. Whatever the price was I had trouble getting my brain around it.

In 2009 the Party for the Senses had themes for each night...I went to one called Fall Harvest. They tried to work pumpkin into almost every dish. I love pumpkin so that was great.

Kona Cafe had pumpkin pancakes last year but I had them in December, no idea if they offer them any earlier.

Eek, thats a lot...but then again on vacation we will splurge for good stuff...I mean if they charge $10 for a caramel apple or $5 for a piece of caramel why not $8 for a funnel cake :rotfl2:

Now that sounds awesome! We are going to Kona in a few weeks, hope they have it!

A pumpkin spice funnel cake does sound incredible, but I can't justify that high price... It's fried dough! Come on! I already thought the normal funnel cakes were more expensive in Epcot than MK, but even more just to add some spice to it?

I think I'll stick with those shooter type desserts for $1.50... I usually don't like large portions of sweets anyway... Don't like the way my blood sugar spikes and then plummets.

I've had pumpkin pancakes at IHOP in past years... They were like eating a really great spice cake... with whipped cream... Add maple syrup and even more WOW! I'd love to find that in WDW!

Pumpkin Funnel Cake is $7.00 and it is to just next to the American Adventure, heading towards the direction of France..not Mexico. They are really good. I think it is worth it. I am getting one this coming Saturday when I make my second trip up for round 2 of the F&W Festival :yay:

Last year I got it with ice-cream and chocolate syrup and it was like $9....
