Fall discounted room with weekend

I have 2 rooms booked at All-Star Sports for 10/27-11/4. The fall and holiday room discount excludes the weekend so what would be the best way to apply the discount for half the stay? I’d hate to cancel and then rebook since it seems like every 5 minutes the room availabilty disappears! Do I just need to call?

If the discount starts in the latter half of your stay, I would first make sure to book the half that does work with it before modifying the previous booking.

Did you try modifying through My Disney Experience? I know that in the past you couldn't do much to modify an existing resort reservation on the website, you definitely had to call, but since the recent upgrade there are more options. I had a rack rate reservation from the last week of August into the first week of September. A discount came out for the first part of my trip. I was able to add the discount myself. It reduced the rate of my first five nights and left the remainder of my nights at rack rate.
