Fall break or Thanksgiving break?

Calling all Disneyland experts!!!! We're looking at going back to Disneyland for a few days. But I'm unsure which would be better..... a few days the first week of October (during fall break for the kiddos) or a few days the week of Thanksgiving? The beginning of October has seemed (to us) to be increasingly more crowded over the years (maybe because of the Unofficial Gay Days and/or the Utah-Escape-to-Anaheim folks)... but is it worse or better than Thanksgiving time?

The days in October would be anywhere between 10/2-10/10.... and the days in November would be anywhere from 11/20-11/28. Which would be better?????

Any and ALL suggestions welcome!

Oct. has been busy the last couple years ~ Gay Days, AZ & UT fall breaks, Choc Walk, Columbus Day....

This past Thanksgiving week was CROWDED leading up to T Day and T Day and the days following were quite nice *lots of AP holders were blocked. We plan to visit DLR during Thanksgiving ~ we'll start either the Wed. or T Day and stay through Sat.

So, for Thanksgiving week.... Thanksgiving DAY and after would be LESS crowded then the several days BEFORE????

What about the week PRIOR to Thanksgiving? Would that be a slow week? I'm kind of more interested in going in November since we haven't been while the holiday decorations are up in a few years.

We went the week prior to Thanksgiving last November for DD's birthday and it was nice! The crowds were not super low, but still very nice.
