I arrive before this offer starts. Questions on doing a split stay that starts before the free dining.

1. Will I be able to use my tickets for the free dining package before my free dining reservation starts?
2. Will I be able to book all my fast passes 60 days out from first reservation start date?
3. Will they likely let me stay in the same room or do we actually have to check-out?

1. You can usually activate your park hopper tickets early but not your dining credits.
2. No.
3. Maybe. Depends on availability. They will try.

Is it still possible to book the Free Dining Package, pay for the PH tickets and not use the PH tickets during this stay? Save the PH for another visit? I also have an AP, and it used to be possible to get Free Dining and use the Free Dining tickets another time. Thanks

That is an interesting question. If you can, it either means you are paying the high ticket price for the tickets that don’t have use dates, or it is a loophole.

I've never had two tickets at the same time, but from what I've gleaned here on the DIS, you either don't assign or unassign the PH tickets OR you somehow make the AP your priority ticket and the system will use that one. You could check the ticket sticky over on the theme park board to see if this is addressed there. If know one else comes along with an experienced answer and you can't find it on the sticky, you may want to start a new thread with this specific question.

wow what a joke, checked and it was VERY limited on what resorts and dates, just as a comparison to our current booking, was no way going to change unless this rocked, was fianlly able to get the CBR for 7 days with free dining, added the DXDP as that is what we have. We currently have Jambo, savanna view/DxDP, and it ended up costing $540 MORE for the CBR.................wow some "free dining"................no thanks!

Click on the link in Pumba's first post. That will give you all the dates (yes, it is only for certain dates).

To get it, go to Special Offers on Disney's website and follow the link for the free dining offer.

If you already have a reservation, you can try to modify it online (if it falls within the dates) or call.

2. You can book fast passes 60 days out from the package you have booked that has the park tickets associated with it
3. Normally yes

I just want to clarify as I just put a deposit on a trip. We are arriving on Dec 22, through the 31st. It showed that we qualify for free dining, as we arrive before the 23rd. Our dining package is good throughout our trip, and not just for the 22nd-23rd correct?

Yes as long as you arrive in the dates then it counts for your whole trip.
