Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

My kids still fit in their assorted Disney shirts from last fall, but I'm over here like "they neeeeeed new shirts or all my pictures will look the same!"

So I'm hoping to find great deals here and there, and make a few with my friends Cricut. I scored an awesome old Star Wars tee and Toy Story tee at goodwill last time too. Didn't see anyone else with them on in the parks so that was cool.

What crowd calendar? So glad I found you all again. I could not figure out what happened to the thread.

There are a few out there - easywdw, Kenny the pirate (his site is awesome especially for info on character meets), and touring plans.

We currently have rooms at Riverside in the Royal rooms from September 3 through September 11. Just checked online and Riverside is totally booked for this time. We were really looking for standard rooms at the yacht club or the beach club with the free dining. Do any of you think these rooms may open up after a while?

For all of you still searching, I was browsing around a few minutes ago and it looked like more rooms might have opened up. Maybe I'm still a little groggy and don't want to get anyones hope up, but work a check. Good Luck!

Hey all,
I was just online and was able to book 3 standard rooms for CS for sept 17-24......that was our original booking without FD.....then had to switch to ASMu then POP.....now back where we wanted to be.......CB was also available....I think they may recently opened up a bunch of rooms....I was up at 2:30 and 4:30 this morning and nothing was available....if you haven't gottten what you wanted....CHECK soon !!!Good luck......
I was so excited, I ran into the office and almost scared my husband out of his chair!!

It definitely looks like they released more rooms. I just noticed a standard at CBR and one at CSR for 09/10-09/18 if anyone is still looking!

There is a standard available at CSR for FD 11/15-11/20 (also available if you want to stay longer than 11/20).

My kids love the nightly movies more than the fireworks. :rotfl: Sometimes we have to make them go to the parks. :hyper:
I agree. We got both this past November at CBR, we did the movie and saw Epcot fireworks too because you could see them from there. I'm afraid staying at POLY for the first time I won't get DH out of the resort at all to go to the parks.

Okay, guys... tell me what the water parks fun & more tickets include. Do they get you into Disney Quest? I know it was slated to close but hasn't yet.
My TA said it isn't listed because it was supposed to close, but as long as it remains open, you can use it for DQ.

I buy too much clothing for our trips as well. However, I buy our shirts from etsy or instagram shops so they're mostly just cute quotes or character names not big photos of characters so I don't mind wearing them while not at Disney. I wear my "There's nothing a little Starbucks and Disney can't fix" shirt all the time and I just got a "This Mama needs a Dole Whip" tank that I will wear when it gets warmer even though there's no chance of me getting a dole whip around here unless I make it myself :)

We had that issue last time. We went to MK first and then Epcot... in the rain. It was terrible! Hardly anything for toddlers to do at Epcot when it rains... There were 0 characters out. If we had had PHs we wouldve left and gone somewhere else. And then that made us feel like we wanted another MK day so we skipped AK.
This time we have HS scheduled first and then MK our second day with more MK sprinkled throughout the rest of the trip!

Unrelated to the parks, does anyone else have a Disney shopping problem? I still have 5 months to go and I can't stop buying Disney shirts! I really need to go through my girls stuff because they're going to end up with more outfits than days! (Again... That happened last trip too but at least then they were toddlers and used their extra clothes a few times!)

Dh is a huge star wars fan and he's got a ton of shirts from Walmart recently so he'll probably just wear a SW shirt every day. And one mickey shirt he has still from our last trip.
We are the type that love Disney but don't wear much of the stuff outside the parks.

Also I want the target shoes but haven't got around to buying them yet.

Seriously, it's a problem. Oh! And I'm putting together a disbound outfit for Ariel to wear when we go to MK one day and meet Ariel! She's my favorite princess and has been since I was a kid.

Me. :rolleyes1

Yes. I have a major Disney shopping problem lol. I have a photo somewhere on my Instagram from last year when I was cleaning out my dresser and folded all of my Disney tshirts. I arranged them all in a giant grid on my bedroom floor. I am going to post it here so that you can see the photo because it is ridiculous. 36 TSHIRTS! And this is not including all of my long sleeve Disney shirts or Disney Hoodies. AND>>>> this also was before our Christmas week trip last December where I bought 3 more Tshirts and 1 more hoodie. I do however wear my Disney shirts and hoodies all the time when I'm not in my professional office... I also wear them to the gym a few times per week.

My tshirt collection includes:
Mickey Mouse
Minnie Mouse
Epcot Center
Monorail.
Pocahontas
Elsa & Anna
Lion King
Pluto
Olaf
Buzz & Woody
Jasmine & Aladin

So to answer your question... yes.... I do have the same problem as you lol EMBRACE IT GIRL!!! :flower1: You are NOT alone!

See photo below of my Disney tshirts prior to our last December trip. I now have MORE! haha
