So, we're riding to Busch Gardems today for our first park day of the year...and DH just throws out there that he thinks we should plan a Nov 2011 trip. Wheee!:cool1:

It will be perfect because we have plenty of time to save, and my DD1 will still be just shy of her 3rd birthday and thus still free. :thumbsup2

I am concerned about the Fantasyland Refurb issue, but I think we'll be ok, and seeing the Coming Soon stuff will really motivate us to plan a 2012 or 2013 trip. :lmao:

SO: anyone else out there planning for Fall 2011?

I am getting ready to buy my AVP on TGM and reading up on everything new at the parks. Can't WAIT. :cloud9:

Our anticipated plans: fly, use ME, stay at Poly (will be our third stay there) in Fiji ground floor garden view room on the cove side (its like having a private beach), and probably DxDP is they still offer it then. We like having everything paid for up front and then we can be more flexible without counting costs on vacation. Hopefully we can swing that because we LOVED it in 2008 when we did it. :lovestruc

This is very exciting for us because on my last trip I found out I was pregnant with DD1. This wasn't supposed to be possible (the expensive trip was a consolation prize in an attempt to distract us from bad news on the fertility front) but... she's here! And now she's going to Disney! :woohoo:

I'm going in Oct. of 11 for WDW's 40th anniversary celebration!!!!! :cool1:

I am 30 years old and still in college...yup, gotta work for a living, so college has been slow going. I've muddled through, though and will :cool1:FINALLY:cool1: graduate in December 2011. Last trip to Disney was Sept. 2008 and of course have been itching to go back since I left. :wizard: Sooooo, I although the hubby doesn't quite get the Disney-magic, I have decided that I will be rewarding myself by going to WDW!!! :woohoo: Now that I have a date in mind, I can start planning and allow myself to get excited!

I almost feel like I'm going to be a pro sports player after a huge win...

"Well, you just graduated from college. Now what are you going to do?"

I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!! :dance3:

DisMullins: congrats! I am graduating in a month after over 18 years of college (obviously I took some big long breaks!) Doesn't it feel good?! Disney is the perfect reward!

KennyWife: my husband is also named Kenny... I had no idea about the anniversary: that should be really cool!:cool1:

I haven't completed my May or November trip for 2010 and my mind is already on OCTOBER 2011..!!!

We can't wait for Food and Wine 2011! The 40th anniversary of WDW!!!

I'm super excited. Just heard from SIL that they are ready to go for a week in fall of 2011. Better still, they are "on board" with my idea to do a land/sea package. so it looks like we will be taking our first Disney plus going to the parks. Woo-hoo!:cool1:

My family and I started the booking process yesterday - doing a land/sea package also. Spending a week at WDW December 3-10, 2011 and then jumping on a cruise ship for the Western Caribbean cruise from the 10th - 17th.

It seems so far away but we need the extra time to save up. Its a big family trip - we have 9 confirmed going with us so far with another 17 invites pending! It will be my daughters' first trip to WDW (we have been to Disneyland several times) and their first cruise too.

If I can't convince DH we should take advantage of $159 rt fares for Dec 2010, then fall 2011 it is :) I would love to go this year but 2011 is more likely. I will continue to drive myself nuts on dis and checking airfare prices until then!:lmao:

Hey everybody!!~:upsidedow

Fall trips have become our new family tradition, so it's nice to see a thread up. Our first visit since we were little kids was this previous October (hence my username), and from then on we've decided MNSSHP is going to become a regular thing for us....cuz we're spooky like that.

We moved over this winter so a vacation this year is simply out of the picture. However we're looking forward to Oct. '11 for our first stay at the Poly. We stayed at the CR last time (my sister's favorite resort), but somehow still ended up spending much of our time hanging out over in the Poly gardens/on the beach or at Capt. Cooks and of course doing the Spirit of Aloha.

Great thread and can't wait to read everyone's plans! Nana dansen

Shifting my annual trip from January (way too cold this year!) to October since youngest daughter (dsney travel companion) is going to graduate from college in May 2011 - gives us a bit more options! Have the calendar book marked so that I can request my DVC home resort for 10/16/11 for 11 nights -didn't realize that it would be the 40th anniversary! Never been to the Food & Wine before so looking forward to that!

I booked the cruise part of my 2011 land/sea package this week, so I am officially official! :cool1: 14 of us going to the Bahamas (1st ever cruise) and staying 4 nights at POR (still have to get that part booked). I am so excited. Thank goodness I have a trip coming up in June to help me wait.

We're having our wedding the second week in November in Disney and going on our honeymoon on the November 17th Disney Magic sailing! :cool1: Can't wait!

I will be there October 2011 for the 40th celebration!! I will turn 40 that month also! Always said I will spend all my "milestone" bdays at WDW!! Going on an all girls trip with no kiddos!!:cool1:

We're planning to be there for our first time from Oct 1-15 2011 and then we've booked to do a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise ex Port Canaveral. It's a very long way for us to come and will cost a fortune  so will be a huge trip! We are a family of 2 adults and our 3 daughters will be aged 13, 10 and 6 by then. It's hugely exciting as well as quite overwhelming to plan this trip compared to our previous Disneyland trips!

We are planning for Sep. 2011 and I can't wait. We definatley want the Dx Dining Plan (not sure I can talk hubby into going without it so they better offer it) and we already know everywhere we want to get ADR's:lmao:.

You are not alone!!! We're all booked for 24 Sep - 8 October 2011, and I have all our ADRS already picked out - though they keep changing every time I look at the food porn thread :rotfl:

So glad to see there are other Fall 2011 planners out there!

We have just booked for October 2011 (as you can see from my shiny new ticker). It will be mine and the wifes 13th or 14 trip to WDW (I lose track) but it will be the little fellas first. He has been to DLRP 3 times but it is time to see the proper Disney. Things have also come full circle as we are staying at the Comfort Inn LBV, this is the hotel we stayed in on our first trip together in 1990. We have stayed at a few off site resorts and also at POFQ and PORS (when they were classed as 2 hotels), oh and ASMovies.

I did not even know it was going to be the 40th anniversary (we still have 25th anniversary beach towels) so heres hoping for something special (maybe just merchandise).

So it is booked, just waiting for the documentation to come through and then to pay next year. It seems so long away but I am sure it will come around quickly.
