Do all of the official pins have the Mickey heads on the back of the material?

How do I know if they are suppose to? I bought my daughter a 08 pin online and it does not.

Two I bought came on a card. One card said Red and the other Green on the back. Does this mean anything?

It's more than likely not made by the Disney Company if it does not have a Mickey Logo on the back.

Do you mean the mickey heads that go off the sides of the pin or just the pin trading logo?

The red and green are the codes so people know how much the pins are retail. They don't list prices on the cards anymore, just the colors. However just because you received a backer card does not ensure authenticity, sometimes sellers will put the pins on the backers of other pins.

I think the OP may be referring to the mickey heads that are stamped all over the pin and not the odpt logo. That said I have quite a few very old pins that are 100% real and they don't have a mickey logo on them at all, just a copyright Disney logo....

Yes. Look like they are part of the raw material prior to stamping.

OK. I just wondered.

Yes. Of the twenty some that I purchased only three have them and on of those has the border around them so know that is a fake.

Ok so they started the Mickey head printed on the back in the past couple of years, prior to that you might find a waffle print on the back or just the pebbled style. The border is the best way to tell a scrapper, it's quick and easy to tell that way, unfortunately without all pins being stamped that way you can't use it every time. And eventually the scrappers will figure out that we figured that out and they will figure out how to make the Mickey heads go all off the edges. lol
Your best resource is probably pinpics.com, they list scrapper alerts when one of the members gets a scrapper in trade.
