Fairytale Package Dates Extended
I couldn't get the date to come up on the Disney site for Nov, but came across this: Extended til 11/20/03

I hope now that they've given people a change to enjoy this package past the end of Oct, there will be less crowds in Oct. Although, them extending it less than a month is not that much more of an opportunity for people to take advantage of it. I'm tired, hope I'm making sense.

I just got off the phone with WDW travel and they didn't even know it was extended. But.. IT IS! I had already booked for Nov. and it looks like we may be saving some $$$ on this... We were originally booked for 11 nights... Now it looks like we are going to HAVE to stay for 14... darn it all any way.. hehehehehehehehe
I will let anyone who would like to know exactly what we will be saving when I get all the details.

The WDW Agent said that the extension won't be in place until 2 weeks from now.. so if you try calling you may get the automatic response.. "The FT Package ends on Oct. 30". Tell Them (Gleefully) "NO! It is extended until Nov. 20/03!"


So very excited and only 143 days to go....

Our trip is from the 15 to the 22, can I still get the package for the whole week? The 20th is on Thursday and we didn't want to leave until Sat. Any ideas?

I would think that you could. When it was expiring 10/30 you could start your vacation checking in on the 30th til you checked out and you would get the fairytale.

Does that make sense. Kinda like when you check in the last day of value season you would get that rate til you checked out.

I called the Disney Club and they said they could not book this past Oct. I tried to be a bit pushy but she insisted she could not do it. So now I am waiting to try again. How long should I wait to call back? I am so excited I can barely stand it!

My agent told me their notes say the package will be extended. But they will not be able to take bookings on the extended dates til tomorrow.

If you have already booked your trip- I wonder if you can change the dates... my dh would probably rather go in November when the weather is cooler.

Waaahhhhh!!! I already booked and hoped they would extend so I could change mine.....yeah, they change it to 11/20 and I can't leave until 11/21.....I liked it better before. At least I was not missing out because of one day!

We did it!
Sue Ellen at Dreams Unlimited changed our ressies to the FairyTale Package and instead of the original 11 nights were are going for 14 and saving $250.00US off the 11 night package. Not too bad for 3 adults and a child for 2 weeks in WDW.
I'm So EXCITED...

I booked All Star Movies for the 15 - 22 of Nov. I am very excited, and my kids are VERY excited! We have never stayed at Movies. This is the first time we have booked a package in a long time, it was so easy.

We are also staying at ALL STAR MOVIES during that time. We stayed at ASMu last trip and we loved it.. but considering we are all big DISNEY MOVIE fans we have been wanting to try the ASMo out... That's great KDawnLilly. We will also have our lime green ribbon. My DH and D father take turns being our mug men in the early am, so watch for someone with about 5 mugs! I think I am going to request a lovely view of our car in the Toy Story building. We like it as quiet as possible, and easy access to the car. I'll be watching for you!

We had room only ressies for six people for CBR for November 15-22, were planning to buy AP's and pray for codes. Got back from a business trip yesterday and saw the extension. Emailed Susan at Dreams Unlimited and she was already at work on it. We got it!!! Per person, this works out to be the best Disney package deal we have gotten.

Doin' the happy dance in Jersey!
