Fairyboat question I need help on!

Now I know that Mark Twain's steam boat is on a track, and that the Tom rafts are not on tracks in the Magic Kingdom. But I was wondering if the huge fairy boats that take you across the 7 sea's lagoon is on a track or not? My dad says they are, but I say they are not. Please settle this debate.

That's right. They are real ferrys and operate without any external guides or tracks.
