Has anyone viewed the Fairy Tale Wedding DVD from the weddingchannel website Just wondering if it is worth the price of $25 for the couple that is still trying to decide if they should even move foward on a disney wedding. i.e. can they afford it? :) thanks for any input!

I really do not think this was worth it for me. It really does not have any information pertaining to Disney in specific but rather general things about planning a wedding. They used Disney as a back drop. The most valuable source to us was the Disney site www.disneyweddings.com and these boards.

The Disney weddings site gives a great depiction of minimums and costs. The first place to start is to figure out if you need a custom or intimate wedding and the site has information on both. The only thing is remember with the floral section what they show is the top of the line and they can work with you on realistic pricing. In terms of venue, site fees, transportation, music, food etc it is a great start. You can make a wish book and add all the things you think you may want and day/time and see the figure. Remember the wish book does not include tax and gratuity which could tack on thousands. Good Luck.

Pretty much the only good things to come from it is that it has some of the wedding planners are in it...and it does have some views of the venues that you might not see elsewhere. But all in all, not worth the price. If you are really curious, I bet one of us who has it already could copy it. (It is technically marketing material.)
