Fairy Godmother & Marie Meet

Does the Fairy Godmother normally meet at 10am? Does she still meet by the castle? I've been wanting to meet her for years!

Marie (from Aristocats) normally meets at the flagpole in MK, but for our date, she is not scheduled for a meet
Has anyone run into a character not being scheduled (normally shown on DisneyWorld.com, also confirmed when calling WDW), but then they turn out to have a meet?
Do you know if Marie meets anywhere else?
I'd love to meet her this trip too, I'm a bit crest fallen she's not scheduled

Marie left Epcot for MK a year or more ago.

Indeed, comprehensive if you sign up and pay money for it.
For FGM he only listed Morning and behind the castle.
So, when in the morning and where exactly behind the castle?

WDW.com has FGM scheduled at 10am, also by the castle.
They have nothing showing for Marie

Ask any CM with access to a phone to call the character hotline when you get to the park. They can give you specific times.

Marie has been in the MK since at least 2012. I can't imagine she won't be out.

Okay, do you think CMs near CP or within Main Street be okay? Is the customer service open pre-park (cause I could pop in there too, right?)

Yeah, that's what I thought, but when we called MK they said she wasn't scheduled

When we went with my Niece and Nephew, we happened to be there just as the first 'dream along with mickey' show was starting. I remember because my plan to walk through the castle was thwarted so we had to walk around past sleepy hollow and i saw some people waiting in line. She wasn't out yet, but her line has a quick cut-off. I'm glad I sent the nephew to run ahead of us and save our place in line! (Then again this was also the magic trip of the 40 minute A&E wait)

Yeah, that's what I thought, but when we called MK they said she wasn't scheduled

You could try guest relations outside the park before opening. I think in general Marie appears near the flag pole off and on until just before the afternoon parade. So if she's out, you will likely have many opportunities. I'd probably head to FL, do a couple rides, keep an eye on FGM's spot by the castle to find her, then duck into Castle Couture to ask if they can call the character hotline about Marie for specific times.

I just can't imagine who you would call at the MK days ahead of time who would actually have accurate information.

Ahhhhhh...... beautiful! I'm so jealous you had photopass available with FGM. We've been meeting her for years and never gotten a Photopass pic.

If you're looking at the schedule on the Disney site, Marie would be considered under the bucket of "Meet Disney Friends in Town Square". She's not listed specifically. There's no reason she shouldn't be out intermittently throughout the morning/early afternoon.

You should also download the My Disney Experience app. They list specific times that characters are scheduled to come out for that day.

Indeedy she was! I've also seen her later in the day hiding in the shade of the new castle "walls" that lead towards the 7dmt, though I've also seen the Steps-(mother,sisters) there

We were actually super lucky that trip! We passed by A&E a few times each day and lucked out with a 40 min wait one time. We also completely filled up an Autograph book in 3 days!

I'm curious what week you were there. I've heard she has FP during the busier times of year but maybe that's changed.

We're hoping to find her when we're there in June.

Marie was meeting by the Town Square flagpole when I was there in 2013... my son had no interest in meeting her and we waited in the Pluto line, across the "courtyard" there. I don't remember what time of day, however, but the wait wasn't that long. Maybe 15-20 minutes based on the line.

We're hoping to find her when we're there in June.

If it helps, I was there in November and FG had a photopass photographer then as well!

We were actually there the weekend before Halloween. It's one of our annual trips in October to go for the Fall equinox as a religious holiday lol, that trip we just happened to have the in-laws and N&N along for the ride. But then again, we're also seasonal pass holders and live only 4 hours south of the Mouse, so were up there alot (like this coming Tues/wed if anyone needs any current info/magic postcards)

Personally I've never heard of a FP for her and more recently went ecstatic from hearing she had switched from one of those "get lucky" characters to actual set times.

I've seen her move into the shade of the false castle walls they put up around the carousel, particularly the ones that lead back towards BOG and 7DMt. But then again, I've also seen the steps sisters there. it seems to be a toss-up in the early afternoon as to who you get. She was always def an early morning character.

Not long ago, that site gave specific times for free--it seems that may no longer be the case. I'm sorry you found my answer less than satisfactory.

Did you answer? Did I already make a thread before!? Well now I have to find it. I am so sorry if I asked this question before and don't remember.
If I inquired from you via not on DIS, please take no offense, I take all information from many resources to get the best possible information

Yes, I thought the site had free times a bit ago. Suppose the person wanted to capitalize and really, don't blame him
The price is not horribly bad at all but, well, everyone has reasons ^_^
At least I know that FGM is only in mornings and near the castle and that Marie does normally show up
