Fairies Question

It’s that time again…we are about to take our 7yr old daughter to the Kingdom. (June 26-July3) She hopes to visit Silvermist when we visit the fairies at Pixie Hollow. We’ve met Tink and her friends before, but have never had any success being there when Silvermist was present.

Has anyone had any luck seeing Silvermist recently?

I too am looking for the elusive Silvermist, for my trip on the 3rd-7th. DD has waited serveral times, in quite long lines, hoping to catch her..and keeps missing her. I am wishing upon a star that maybe there has been some consistancy in her schedule, or that DD no longer has interest in meeting her. Either wish will work for me.. I'm not picky.

Be sure to check at Guest Relations when you arrive at MK. They have a schedule of character appearances and can tell you if Silvermist is planning on flying in on that particular day. They may not be able to tell you exactly when -- to the minute -- Silvermist will be in the Hollow, but they will know for certain if she will NOT be. Which will save valuable time in line. I mean ... why stand in line for an hour hoping to meet Silvermist if you can find out at the start of the day that she's not able to fly in at all! And they may well be able to provide you with a "window" during which Silvermist is expected to be there.

Saw her on June 11 with Tink and Iridessa. Be warned though that were were told that it would be Terrence and Faun with Tink so it can change quickly. Hopefully the pixie dust will be with you and you get to see her! (Just to add this was in WDW)

guest relations can't help. the only thing that will is a willingness to wait if she's not in the room and if the CM will let you.

I've done it myself. Actually took me upwards of 3 hours in line as I had just missed them and then it ran into lunch.

We were allowed to wait for Silvermist at WDW and DLR. Once you get to the front of the line ask the CM what fairies are in the room. We were ablt to let people go in the room ahead of us until it was time for Silvermist. So if you don't mind waiting!

Typically Silvermist will have her first appearance in Pixie Hollow at 10:45 (an hour after the Hollow opens). HOWEVER, Entertainment is very much subject to change and does so a lot at the Hollow so one day to the next can be different.

Just to emphasize what Brad said... Guest Relations is not given specific fairy info, so they cannot help.

I was so happy when DD10 decided she didn't want to try to see Silvermist this vacation.

We've tried 4 other trips (Might be 5, I lose track. LOL) and always missed her.

Since the lines for the fairies always seem so long (even when we went at Toontown rope drop, the line for the faires was 45 minutes in just the time it took to walk there and we were in front!) I wanted to dance a jig in Toontown.

GR can't always tell you when Silvermist will be at the Hollow but they can always tell you if she WON'T be. At least, that's been my experience. And knowing she won't be there all day can save a LOT of time. I mean, why wait and wait and wait for a fairy who will never arrive, when you can find out in advance that she won't be there?

I have used GR many times when looking for specific characters (including princesses and fairies) and they have been very helpful in sending me in the right direction as well as helping me not go in the wrong direction. You have nothing to lose by asking, and you never know what info might be available.
