Fairfx Rates Improving!

Upto 1.4725 right now - I guess the good news for the US earlier today has improved things!

I applied for the card yesterday and got $1.4475 so its a deffinate improvment. Heres hoping it continues.

I just bought one as well. Not sure if the rate has gone up again,I put just £40 on (get paid on friday so will add more) and it converted it to $60, if my maths is right thats an exchange rate of $1.50. could and probably am wrong hehe

Can some one tell me how you use the fairfx card in the usa , is it just like using your debit card in the uk , can you draw cash out from it at a bank , and how do you find out how much you have left on it , sorry for all the questions

We will be taking a large bottle of vodka onboard, we both drink vodka and diet coke and have $300 onboard credit for cocktails

use it just like a debit card, you will be charged $2 to withdraw cash but anyone that accepts mastercard will accept it

You can only chekc the balance online i think but if you know how much was on it and keep receipts you can try and do it that way

We used ti last year and thought it was great and today topped up for this years holiday

You can actually check via your mobile.

I often do that lol. You text 'Fair bal (last 4 digits of your card)' to 60040

You can also top up on that number my texting 'Fair 20 USD (for eg)'
