I am renting from an owner for Fairfield Bonnet Creek, I know I won't get daily housekeeping but how does this work. We will be staying a week. Will we have to wash towels every day? Do we get a cleaning at all? What about garbage?

MickeyMickey, when you arrive, everything should be clean and well-stocked for your stay. There will be as many towel sets as the occupancy limit for the room. For example, if the room sleeps up to 8 people (2BR), there will be 8 bath towels, 8 hand towels and 8 washcloths in the bathroom(s). If pool towels (a different color) are kept in the room, there would be 8 of those as well. Sometimes, pool towels are kept at a counter near the pool - I don't know about the Fairfield Bonnet Creek resort's way of handling pool towels. I suspect they're in the condo.

There are usually no visits to your room during your stay by either maintenance or by housekeeping services unless you request something. Routine daily cleaning services are usually available with a 24-hours-in-advance request, for a fee (varies by room size & resort).

Your FFBC room will contain a stacked washer/dryer in a utility closet with at least one single usage box of laundry detergent. You may use this to wash towels or personal laundry. If you are renting a larger 4BR suite, you'll have a full size washer/dryer. We usually bring along extra detergent tablets and dryer sheets. Many people do not wash their bath towels every day. That varies by family too.

Trash deposit locations are generally located conveniently at Fairfield resorts. They usually have a trash drop off "room" located near the elevators on every floor. We usually take out the trash as we leave the condo in the morning. If the location has recycling, you'll see the bins by the trash drop-off. Extra trash bags are found under the sinks, along with dish soap, paper towels, bathroom tissue, etc. Housekeeping will deliver extra paper goods if you run out. HTH!

Just got back from Bonnet Creek. Pool towels are in the room and you would have to launder them throughout the week. There is a trash chute on every floor though not near the elevator. Like Lisa P, we bring our own supply of detergent and dryer sheets.

It's a great resort. Have a good time.
