Fairfield or Candy Cane - Help me Decide!

Hi,

We just decided to go down to DL in July for 4 nights before our APs expire. We usually stay onsite and I got a good quote for Paradise Pier but decided to save the money and go offsite.

I have a reservation for Fairfield Inn and just got a quote for Candy Cane. Candy Cane will cost $60 more total (including tax). (PP was $270 more total plus the resort fee).

I figure Fairfield is a closer walk? But, CC seems a bit nicer and includes breakfast.

Any advice?

From the front doors, the Fairfield is 596.28 feet closer. However, the Candy Cane has their own shuttle for those time when you are too pooped to walk 1/2 mile more.

We stayed at the Fairfield last year and the rooms were nice. Parking was an issue some nights, though. We're trying the Candy Cane next week.

We always stay at the Candy Cane. The breakfast alone is worth about $20-30 / day for our family. A few hundred extra feet to the front gate is no big deal when you consider you walk miles once inside.

CCI!!!!! Unless you ask about the HoJo and the CCI I'll always say CCI. They have the free shuttle, free good breakfast and nice rooms.

I'm voting Fairfield. We've been there twice, and are booked for a trip in July. We had a bad experience at CCI. It was years ago, and probably a fluke, but I was not impressed at all. I know it gets great reviews and I have friends that only will stay there so I'm sure you'll be satisfied either way.
