Review Fairfield Inn vs Hampton Inn for a one night stay

Curious if anyone has stayed at either of these recently.

I am looking for a one night stay.

Is one preferred one over the other?
Looking for a safe location.
Are either close to DTD or other restaurants? Clean?
What about their continental b'fast?

Curious as to what your thoughts are...

I stay at the Fairfield Inn on Canada Avenue and it nice clean and safe environment. Plus the free breakfast was nice.

I am thinking about stay there again but looking for more room is looking at Springhill Suites and Residance Inn because I bring my foster kids next year.

I am earning points from mypoints.com for Marriott Travelcard planning using that t cut hotel cost down a lot.
