a group of us will be staying at the fairfield inn. Would you please give ideas on the area to ask our room assignments. I read that the hotel has a new and old part ---when i called and asked about this the young lady stated it was all built at the same time----please info if you will. how is millies restaurant? are the rooms a good size for 2 adults --3 teens? thanks in advance. I am also staying at Fairfield for half of our 7 nites- the other half at DLH :D
I was very concerned about staying here but you really can't beat the price/location.It is marked a 3 star "motor inn" thru AAA. you might want to check out the conversation I had about this on Laughing place www.laughingplace.com under discussion boards, disney travel palnning, some people HATED it but a few liked it and one person who gave me info is a travel agent and never had problems ... you might also want to check off-site hotel reviews at www. mouseplanet.com I also heard that if you request rooms ending in 29 (such as 129,229, etc...) that it is in an area that is L shaped and gives you a little bit more room (extra couch). A lot of people siad the restaurant next door (millie's ) was decent - they room service that (and Mcdonald's) and they also have a snack shop open late for the munchies. do some searching around and see what u think -- I was also recommended the Howard Johnson which is right next door - about same price plus extra for roll away.

I stay there everytime I go there, if it's not booked solid. I love that place. Very convenient and I have never had one bad stay there :)

We stayed there last October and would definately stay there again. You can't beat the price, along with the ability to walk to the parks. It's nothing really fancy, but we are not in our rooms all day anyway - we do the parks from morning 'til night!
