I heard someone say they got there lap top stolen, and another person got there camera stolen from various motels and I worry my laptop will be touched, and or stolen. I would feel safer if I was able to put it in a wall safe. Also do the maids have keys to these safes??

Another question..... what restaurant has the 99 cent meals with a paying adult meal? I forgot :confused3
this is from there site.. " An adjacent restaurant where kids eat for 99¢ with a paying adult, plus an in-house mini food market add to the convenience of your vacation."

We were there at the FFI last Oct. and I'm sorry to say, they do not have wall safes.

Hi we stayed at FFI with 2 laptops, DS xbox360, and a ton of camera and video equipment. No, they don't have wall safes but we had nothing stolen and no problems at all. Some hotels have safe deposit type boxes at the front desk. You may want to call and ask if they do if you are really worried about it. The restaurant is Millies. They also have room service from Millies too! We didn't order room service but it was great knowing it was there if we wanted it, and the prices weren't outrageous like most room service charges are. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at FFI and would stay there again in a heartbeat! The room was immaculate and we had no problems whatsoever. The bed was soooooooo comfortable! We really enjoyed the much shorter walk too. (We usually stay at Hojo's.)

Thank you :) do you have pictures?? Im so glad you posted this !! So is it 99 cents every day for kids with an adult meal? this will save me bg bucks since we plan to do breakfasts there each morning.
do they still have the orange water in the lobby?

When we were there in dec it was only lemon or lime water...and I grabbed a cup each time we walked by lol

I never had anything stolen either. The room was nice, I thought nicer than my premium room at hojo! And like she said...a MUCH shorter walk. Which is always nice :)

Im so glad I picked this motel!!! it sounds wonderful!! thank you all for your help :)

This is a nice hotel. Nice soft Mariott beds.....Millies is also very good and inexpensive. Don't be worried if you walk in early evening and find it empty. A family almost did this cause they were scared the food was bad since no one inside. It gets busy after park closes. You get a lot of hot yummy food. The decor has a lot of Disney themed stuff and perfect for kids. They also offer Pizza Hut pizza at the hotel. Mcdonalds and Mimis also on the parking lot. Great location. Fridges are in rooms and micro at the breakfast area.

The chair is a bit smaller than a twin sized bed. Probably perfect for a kid under 5'5" tall. Anything bigger than that and their legs will be hanging over the edge.

Real hangars that come off the rod! Yay! Iron/ironing board and extra blanket wrapped in plastic.

Coffee pot is single cup type. We brought our own 4 cup coffeemaker.

I didn't take a picture, but to the left of the play area for kids there is a stand alone computer with printer for people to print out coupons, boarding passes, etc. Great!
This is what it looked like when we were coming back home at night...

ETA:
There is also a Seattle's Best and Pizza Hut on the 3rd floor. They offer continental breakfast items for sale in the mornings for people who want to grab something and go.

I LOVE the Fairfield Inn. I stay EVERY time I go to Disneyland and will be there next Thursday. I have never had a problem with anything being stolen. That being said, you can always lock your valuables in your luggage (preferably your large luggage). Would be a bit difficult for a maid to walk out with (if that's your worry). I have never had any problems with this hotel and highly recommend it.

we always clean our own rooms anyways and take the trash out on our way out each day, after 2 days get new sheets on the way to the room and new bedspreads. in the morning we just put the sheets etc. out side our door. Im not worried, I just wanted to also store my money and such, I will just not have a maid come in.

How is the parking at this hotel? I'm staying for 9 nights so I will be coming and going a lot and don't want to be circling around the parking lot waiting for a space. Is it hard to find a spot?

Thanks

We were worried about the parking situation too before staying there, but we always managed to find a stall without circling around. My DH often leaves to go to L.A. on business, etc., so parking is always a concern for us. There was lots of parking. Also when we questioned the front desk and security people about it upon check in, they told us if we ever had a problem finding a stall to let the security guards know and they would find us a stall or find us a place to park. We never had to do that, and we were there when it was insanely busy in the parks. There are several doors that lead to the lobby area so it's never a far walk to the lobby no matter where you park.(You'll need a room key to open the doors after hours.) I was a little worried about security before we got there, but there were always security guards walking around the property at all hours of the day and night. It was safe.

I had the same thing happen to me. I got to the hotel two summers ago and the lot was full. The security guard said he knew exactly were to park and to meet him around the side. I drove to where he said and there he was, standing in the one available spot (at the time) holding it for me. Service! Last summer it was not nearly as busy as the average summer due to the economy. I expect the same this year.

I see the rooms are open to the outside, how does one get a scooter up and down the floors? Is there an elevator on the ends? of each floor that are easy to access with a scooter?

We stayed there in May.. it was a fine hotel. The elevators are by the lobby and quick. The citrus water was a nice treat when it was hot. There are safe deposit boxes behind the check in counter... I saw someone getting his stuff from one when we checked in.

There is one bank of elevators that serve the entire hotel, IIRC. The room I stayed in was very close to the elevators. If I were more to the front of the building, closer to DL, I would have had a nicer view but it's rather far from the elevators to those rooms. I would ask for a room close to the elevators and facing DL if distance is a concern.
