Our arrangements are complicated this year as we are not sure how many of us are going or for how long, so don't know if I need 1 or 2 rooms. Have found a good rate for The Fairfield Inn at LBV or should I hold out to see if there are any AP rates for any of the values at WDW especially Pop Century in August?

I assume this is the 90 advance purchase rate with no refund at Fairfield you are looking at? I know it offers big savings over its 'cancel 24 hours before' rates.

Have you looked at other places nearby for good deals that you could cancel easily if and when the AP rates appear for August? I have a similar situation for a few days in June but I'm holding a reservation with great rates at Country Inn & Suites, LBV (booked back in September when there was no cancellation penalty) and am waiting for those AP rates to hopefully appear in January.

It depends how you would feel about missing out on the Fairfield deal versus missing out on Pop Century (or other value deal) should you tie yourself in. Which could you cope with best? Fingers crossed that the AP rates appear for you soon :D

I personally would hold out.. Last year we got a card in the mail for August rates for Pop Century to be 49 a night. and I got it now for 55 a night for our Jan trip which I just booked 2 weeks ago. I love staying on the property and using their transportation instead of worrying about car/parking, etc. easier for us with a little one.

Thanks for your replies. I've decided to book one room at The Fairfield Inn for DD and her DB and wait for annual codes for another room for myself, and DS and his DG on property. Or book with Dreams Unlimited, and pay rack rate with an option to reduce it if any codes come out. This gives us all some independence and space because just occasionally DD and DG of DS don't always see eye to eye! LOL. :wizard:
