Fairfield Inn Luggage Storage?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anybody knew if the Fairfield Inn could hold your luggage for a few hours after check-out?

My return flight currently is scheduled for 2:30 and the shuttle would pick us up at 11:50, so that works great for check-out, but I wouldn't mind eating lunch and maybe wander around DTD before leaving.

I'm tempted to change my return flight to 5:30, making the shuttle pick-up probably around 2ish, but that would leave the question about our luggage. I could just lug it around without much issue since I'll only have one suitcase, but are you even allowed to bring luggage into DTD?

Well, I was kinda hoping to see other people's opinions or if they had any other thoughts.

It looks like they'll have a luggage storage for guests who get in before check-in time, but not sure if they allow it after check-out.

Have not yet stayed at this property, but others have held luggage whether before or after your stay. Also - if you want to bring things to DTD, you can ask to be escorted across the plaza so they don't have to rifle through your bags as if you were taking them into a park.

We have had our luggage held at FFI before check in and after check out. They were happy to do it. The luggage storage area was very secure.

I could only get through to the main Marriot Fairfield number. They said most do, but every property is different.
