Fairfax Fare

Has anyone here tried the ribs at Fairfax fair, are they pork or beef and how were they?

Are they anything like the Flame tree ribs.

Whats your thoughts on the Fairfax fare.

Hows the service, are there long lines?

Its now in Hollywood studios on sunset BLVD, where the Turkey leg place used to be, across from Beauty and the Beast play.

We really like FF and think it is comparable to Flametree.

Sorry, I don't know if the ribs are pork or beef, but they are good!

The ribs are pork. I find them closer to the Cosmic Ray's ribs than Flame Tree. FT has it's own unique dry rub, FF are painted with a BBQ sauce. They're not bad, just different.

The lines at Fairfax Fare go pretty quickly unless you are at prime meal time. Seating in the shade can be tricky, there's plenty of covered seating but it fills up fast.

We had lunch at Fairfax Fare last Sept. The service was abysmal! The worst in all of the parks. My DH so wanted to report to head management about the service. He couldn't believe that Disney would let the workers do such a bad job. Food was just ok, nothing special just meh.

agree that the service was poor..but i think it was a language barrier when we were there with training the new CM's for China.

The ribs are pork and are surprisingly good.

It's not Flame Tree but for HS it's a good counter service option. My dad really liked his ribs he got there. I went with the Fairfax salad and it was DELICIOUS! I'd eat there again just for that!.

We had the ribs at Fairfax at the end of August 2011. They were fair, however we all agreed that the ribs at Flame Tree are tastier. We would skip Fairfax in the future, but we always hit Flame Tree and will continue to do so.
