You have a very narrow-minded point of view. FB can be good for many things, evidence gathering included.

As far as subpoening anything, there has to be a reason for the subpoena. You make it sound like you can just decide willy-nilly to subpoena another person's FB page.

As for those who decide to use FB being morons, of course there are many, just as there are quite a few teachers, doctors, truck drivers, lawyers, & DIS members (you get the idea...doesn't matter how you can be grouped or labeled) who are morons. Belonging to the group doesn't make someone a moron, it's how they conduct themselves as member of that group that determines whether or not they are truly moronic.

I was pretty clear about who I think the morons are. I stand by it. And of course you need a reason to subpoena the records. I have that reason every single day.

I'll respectfully disagree. I feel that the timeline made it much more difficult to find things. That makes it harder for me to use.

But u know, fine, u can create it and some people like it and switch. Why force it on everyone? People should be allow to choose what kind of profile they like.

Agreed with all of this...I don't like how the timeline is split between 2 sides, and I do wish they gave people more flexibility instead of forcing everyone to the new format.

I voted here to stay, but not the rule the world option. I hope Facebook sticks around because it has been extremely useful for me to keep in touch with my family. We live away from everyone, but we are able to share so much on Facebook that it really lets us feel like we are still together.

Same here. We were just talking about what we used to do before Facebook. My one sister lives in Phoenix and I felt like I hardly knew her kids, we'd only see them at Christmas and sometimes during the summer. But now with Facebook I can see their pictures, get updates on what they are doing in school, etc. so that when we all get together we have things to talk about. Love Facebook for that reason alone and hope it doesn't go anywhere. Or if it does they find something just as good to replace it with. The drama of Facebook I could do without but I've pretty much blocked or defriended all of those people by now.

I think facebook will be around, but just used by older people. My kids stopped using it awhile ago and went with twitter and instagram, while I still like facebook. Its great to keep up with out of town family and classmates. I have found out when classmates have died and we have had larger turnouts to class parties planned on facebook than to actual reunions we have planned.

I see what family members are up to that I wouldn't know about if it wasn't for facebook. Its nothing bad, just pictures of their kids and grandkids and what they are up to.

I think that something like Facebook will stay around but a new improved version made by someone else could come along. People are always ready for that next better thing.

Remember how popular MySpace was? Of course, MySpace was a mess but still...
