Facebook & TGI Fridays Add Woody

Has anyone seen the TGI Friday's - Add Woody campaign? Is this legit?

For anyone who hasn't seen it. There was a commercial on TV that if 500,000 people become a "fan" of Woody on facebook they will each receive a free meal or burger. This just screams "virus" to me but I can't imagine TGI Fridays being involved in something like that.

I saw the ad on TV. I don't use either social site, so I will not be signing up.

I am having trouble getting my $8.00 Stripes reward certificate from Friday's.
I emailed them and was told there was a problem with my email account. There is no problem with my email, I have always received the certificate in the past, and I am sure it did not go to spam.

I asked them to resend it and I have received nothing.

Anyone else having trouble getting their reward certificate?

Seems completely fine to me - you just had to become a fan on FB and enter your email address for the coupon to be emailed to you. Both my BF and I signed up. Not sure if they are still running the promotion since the 500,000 goal was reached.

It is legit. But the 500,000 has been reached so not sure that it would do any good to sign up. The promotion was limited to the first 500,000.

He actually has some cute posts, and this is the one I like the most!
