I have my FB account set so you can't search for me, you only see me by my friends. If I join a group--like "I love Disney" or something like that...then can people who are not my friends see me on that list?

I think they will see you as a member of that group. But if they click on your pic all they will see a little box with your name and pic. Unless they are already friends with you they won't see hardly anything.

Overall I've found FB to be much different than myspace in that ppl who know are the ones who search for me. On myspace it was ppl who just wanted to up their friend count for who knows what reason. and the day i got a message from someone with 10,000 friends was the day i canceled that acct.
