The easiest way to keep stuff from this person is to simply block him. It's easy peasy to do. Once you do that, you don't exist to him on FB. He won't see anything you do and he won't be able to search for you. If he friends someone you're friends with, it will not show up for him.

It will show up if you respond to a post that you both have as a mutual friend, but your photo won't show and the text you type will be in black font.

Now DD's friend obviously has her settings at either "friends of friends" or "everyone" which is why I can see DD's comment to her friend on the newsfeed.

I should have said the person's name is in black font meaning it's not a clickable link that would normally take you to that person's wall.

IIRC, it should also just say 'Facebook User' & not your name if you block someone.

I have someone blocked. When they comment on a mutual friends picture I don't see anything. But I know they are there sometimes because my friend will say "Susie, He really liked it!" (obviously using a fake name there.)
