Facebook Privacy Announcement

Here is a cut-n-paste from one of my friends on Facebook.

Important FB info: As of today, there is a NEW
PRIVACY setting called "Instant Personalization" that shares data with
non-Facebook websites and it is automatically set to "Allow." Go to
Account >Privacy Settings > Applications and Websites > InstantPersonalization
> Edit Settings, and uncheck "Allow". BTW if your friends don't
do this,... they will be sharing information about you. PLEASE COPY
& REPOST


Thought I would pass this all along to you guys. I "unchecked" the "allow" box.

That went into effect a few weeks ago, I think. I remember going in and unchecking mine. I have heard through the grapevine that the powers that be at FB are discussing some of the outrage over their newest privacy concerns so we might see some sort of address towards those concerns in the near future. Maybe.
