I've heard face painting is popular now. Can anyone tell me where they do it, estimated prices and if there is a typically long wait?

Thanks so much!

PS - If anyone has pictures of it I would love to see them!

I have some really cute pics, but have to figure out how to post them first. My kids have had their faces painted in AK(not far from Kilomanjaro0 MGM, and MK(not far from Goofy's Barnstormer) I think we usually pay around $10-12. I depends on what you want done. My kids love it!

I can't remember the price although my daughter's had it done twice. I want to say 15-20 dollars. You can also have it done in MGM on Mickey Avenue near who wants to be a millionaire.

They range in prices, but I think they were like $12 to $18

Here is my best plan for no-wait face painting...
We get up early for EMH morning for the MK. Head into fantasyland and first, get a FP for Peter Pan, then pretty much walk onto any of the rides we want to do. Then we head over to Toontown and wait for the rope drop at 10. Most people are there to rush the princess tent for autographs, so there is no hurry to the face painting station. Which by the way is right on your right hand side as you go into Toontown. It starts at about $12 and goes up from there. :teeth:

My niece and nephew had it done at MGM -- within a half hour his face broke out very badly. She was fine.

Neither one was predisposed to that sort of thing, but keep it in mind if your child IS.

My DD had it done at DTD... it was $12 + tax and after her little sister got scared seeing it on her face, it was promptly washed off in the squirting water near the scrapbook store! :rotfl:

I had it done maybe 3 years ago..I was probably around 11 years old, and I would not recommend having it done on young children in the warmer months...it's kinda itchy and if you get sweaty it runs. Also if you wipe your face it will smear. Just a warning. Don't know how old your kid(s) are. ITs fine in the cooler months, but to be honest, a pain in the butt in the HOT months.

OK - so I'm certainly not a kid. But it was one of those things I always wanted to do. Face painted, photo with Lilo and Stich - check!

They charged me the same as for the kids - $15. It was in AK on the left as you near the Safari and I think the restrooms were on the right across from them. I think I had a lot of fun making kids and adults both smile that day!

Hope that helps and have fun! :goodvibes

Oh - I wanted to add - they have a board up with the different styles they do and the prices. But if you want something else or a different color they are very good at working with you to face paint what you want.
