Face painting at AK...

Where do the face painting artists at the AK hang out usually? When we were there I saw some wonderful jobs on some kids' faces but we just couldn't find any of them.

There is ususally three or four artists right before you into the Safari ride on the left as you walking to the Safari ride.

We got our faces painted next to tri-sara-tops spin one time and several times at the Safari location. I don't remember any other spots, but there might be

How much does it cost to get your face painted?

Last week, they were at the covered area on the left before the Safari ride. It was so hot we skipped it at that park that day, I was afraid it would not last long. However, we did have it done in Epcot a few days later, but waited until the afternoon to have it done. They average about $12 depending on the design. They are SO worth it!!

Last time I was there I think it was around $15 depending on the design??? Can't remember 100% right now.

My niece had hers done in Hester and Chesters Dinorama, near Triceratops Spin. It was $12 for her design. I don't know if this has changed recently, but the carts don't accept cards/room keys, only cash. They will ring you up at a neighboring pin station with the cards, but it was a pain, so I would just take cash if you are planning on having this done.

We had them done at the covered area on the left right before the safari. Our designs ranged from $12-$15. My kids loved them, they got so many comments on them and they lasted till bedtime that night. We will defiantly do it again. I did notice that every park has some different designs available. The station in Toon Town in MK had a Tink design and had we know that we would have had them done there.

Ok here is a really dumb question. The face painting really are awesome, but how easily do they wash off? Would hate to spend $12 and then go on the water ride and have it wash off. Also kids want to do to the water parks, so I am thinking this might not be a good idea.
