Face character auditions

I heard that after your term is almost done with the dcp you can audition to be a face character and get a contract extension. Is this offer avalible for international dcp participants too?

I think you can audition before you even start your program. Google Disney character performer auditions. I know there is one in Atlanta in march for DCP people. Not sure what the rules are for international participants though.
