Susan and Simon Veness are co-authors of the Brit Guide to Orlando and Walt Disney World and the official International Pow Wow Ambassadors for the UK in 2010. Susan has written a wonderfully detailed review over at the UK-based forums of Attraction Tickets Direct. I've always been confident that UO would do justice to WWoHP, but it seems they've surpassed themselves.

Oops! Sorry, HB - I'm usually so particular to check that links work. :o And thanks, PF for posting the correct link. I've fixed the one in my post, now. :)

Just went & read the review ~ WOW! I don't think I could possibly be more excited now. Sounds like it's gonna be an incredible experience.

WOW!!!!!!

Sounds fantastic. I am so looking forward to this now.

Thanks for posting the link Debbie :thumbsup2

Glad to hear that she says the Forbidden Journey is running!

Now, I wish we were going this summer instead of November!!! :rotfl2:

I just showed my DDs the review and they immediately said that they were going to save their allowances for shopping there!

I just came across these on UO's Facebook page. Apologies if they've been posted before, but I don't frequent the Universal forums much these days and, at 2299 replies, the official thread is going to take a bit of wading through. :o

Mounted on the wall of the Hog’s Head pub at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the hog’s head, which will come alive and puff its jowls at visitors. Adjacent to the Three Broomsticks, the Hog’s Head pub is where guests can enjoy a cold Butterbeer, pumpkin juice and other beverages.

HAGRID'S HUT - An authentic replica from the Harry Potter films, guests will pass by Hagrid's hut on their way to the Flight of the Hippogriff family-friendly roller coaster. Just before they board, Hagrid instructs guests on how to properly approach and fly on a Hippogriff. Hagrid’s hut will be seen as part of a feature about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter on NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice this Sunday, April 4.

Just like the Harry Potter films, portraits line the walls of Hogwarts castle, the home of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – the marquee attraction of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. When passing through the Portrait gallery, guests will encounter several magical talking portraits created exclusively for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, including the four Hogwarts founders.

On Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – the marquee attraction of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – guests will journey through iconic locations straight from the films, such as the Room of Requirement. This amazingly detailed scene is where guests board the groundbreaking ride and are drawn into the excitement and chaos of Harry’s life.

That was an awesome review! Thanks for sharing and thanks for those pics too!

It's funny, I'm reading EVERYTHING about this and my BFF wants to read nothing and have everything be a total surprise. I'm glad I've got DIS so I can "talk" about HP!
