Not this year. We used to go every year, but I think we last went about 3 years ago. Once you miss a year, it's harder to get tickets in the Pits Straight (because tickets go on sale to those who attended the current year's meeting before they do to the general public). We've viewed from most places, but that's the place we prefer. There's nothing quite like the sound of 22 cars starting up on the grid, plus you get to see all the hoopla at the start, the podium ceremony at the end, and there's always something going on in the pits. I hope your dh and son have a great time.Glad you had a fab time, will you be going to the british F1 GP in less than a couple of weeks?
Please feel free, Emma. We have got more, but Matt didn't get any that he was really pleased with which is a pity because we've got some great ones in the past. I think he was more focused (no pun intendedMrs Hobbes said:He would love some of these pictures would you mind if I used posted some of them on his forum.

Which one is it Emma? PM me if you'd rather not say on here for any reason.DH actually runs a motorsport forum on the big wide web.
We went to the Festival of Speed once, Rob, but it absolutely bucketed it down - we were literally ankle deep in mud. I guess that put us off, but maybe we should give it another go. Have we missed this year's meeting?
