1st off wasn't sure which board to place this question on, but we were wondering if anyone has ever done the Party for the Senses (eat to the beat) at the F&WF? We are considering this one, but are obviously awaiting for the 2005 info to be released. It says something about prefered viewing for illuminations, how was the view for that? how was the food & wine? just looking for feedback from anyone who has done this? Also anyone know when the itinerary and ticket info is released?

A group of us did the Party of the Senses last October. It is rather expensive but most of us want to do it again. I'm not a wine drinker but I did find the Sam Adams beer booth. When you got there you receive a plate which also holds the souvenir wine glass. We really didn't use either since they have the portions on little plates and provide glasses for the wine (or beer or water). My favorite was Braised Thai duck with asian slaw and mashed potatoes. Outstanding! The desserts were to die for too. You walk around and keep grabbing littles plates until you can't hold anymore.

My one tip is move to the back of the room to grab seats and graze the back booths. Everyone grabbed the first tables as we walked in and the first few booths had long lines (although they do move very quickly).

Only some stayed for the Illuminations viewing. They moved us to the area right next to Canada.

Everyone said they were glad they tried it. Some of us are already looking forward to this year! We hope they have on on Sat., Oct. 29.
