We are going to be at Epcot during the F&W festival for the first time. I have read about the "mini Disney gift cards on a wrist band". Do we need these or can we charge on our room like we normally do at food places with our keys to the kingdom?

Also, any hints about F&W festival. This is our 10th time to Disney--first time in November! :goodvibes

You can use cash, credit cards, Disney gift cards (wristbanded or not), Disney resort room charges, Disney Visa rewards dollars, or dining plan snack credits.

My biggest hint is if you want to tour WS and eat from the kiosks, don't go on a Saturday.

As TDC Nala said, there are many different ways to pay. However, we found that the mini gift card with the wristband was very convenient because we didn't have to keep digging through pockets or purses.

My hints:
-If you're on the dining plan, the snack credits can be used for any food or non-alcoholic beverage. We used our snack credits on things that cost $4.25 or more.

-Weekdays are far less crowded. We started around 11 when WS opened and did lunch instead of dinner because the lines at the kiosks were shorter or non-existant.

-We shared the food so that we could try many different things.

My biggest hint is if you want to tour WS and eat from the kiosks, don't go on a Saturday.

You've got that right. Because of my husband's job, we always go on Saturdays. If we were on vacation, we would avoid Saturdays like the plague. Also, like I've posted in the past, we're going to try to get into the tequila bar after the tasting.

Good luck to us. :sad2:

We're going to try it Halloween night, hoping everybody will be home trick-or-treating, trick-or-treating at DTD, or at MNSSHP. Keeping my fingers crossed for light crowds. Haven't been to F&W in about ten years, and I'm very excited for it.

I think my biggest challenge will be pacing myself, so that I don't run out of money or appetite before I get all the way around the lagoon!
