We're going in October and plan to spend a majority of our time at Epcot. What is the best way to get to Epcot from the fort?

I was thinking of taking the boat to MK and then monarail to Epcot.

I would love to know from some experienced Fort dwellers as this will be our first trip. I can't tell you how excited I am. Four years since I've been to F&W too!

TIA!

Boat to MK or CR-- board monorail to TTC-- switch to monorail to Epcot.

The bus to MK seams to be few and far between.

In January we tried boat to Contemporary - then switching to monorail, versus just catching the bus at FW to EPCOT. The bus was faster and easier!

Yep, bus from Outpost to Epcot is the best way.

I can ride a bus at home. I only get to ride a monorail at disney.

Some times the journey is the best part of the trip.

I have done that. It was a fun way to get there and back. But it did take longer. We didn't have a kid then so it was a fun adventure. And when my son gets older and more patient, I will do it again.

Do you remember approximate times for each route?

I would just like to know how much time to plan for traveling. I'm trying to balance time at the parks and traveling, between actually spending some time at the Fort.

Thank you for your help.

allow yourself 1 hour from door to door.

Around 45 minutes for campsite to Outpost to EPCOT via bus , over an hour from EPCOT to Outpost to campsitevia monorail to Contemporary to boat.

We take the boat to MK then transfer to monorail for Epcot. We're not in a hurry to mess with the driving hassle and traffic and like the boat ride (especially if you sit up front)

I guess we will go boat to monorail when we are not in a hurry... DH and I will be there four days without the kids and grandparents

Outpost to bus if we want to save a little time.

I agree I do not like to feel hurried or rushed while at Disney and we do take advantage of Disney Transportation while there because we don't want to hassel with parking. And now, we do not want to waste any gas that we don't have to.

Thank you for everyone's input. I really do appreciate it.

Have a great day everyone.
