For those who have been this year. What was your favorite booth/food?This will be our first time so tell me the must taste.

You'll have to stay tuned - F&W doesn't start until the 27th.

myjourney,
Okay, people will probably think I'm crazy (and yes I probably am) but what I did was I went to Disney's website for the F&W festival and I printed off the Promenade & Marketplace listings to look at. I even went so far as to highlight the items that really sounded tempting to me. I then put it in my folder for the plane ride because I'm going with my best friend so I figured she could take a look at it and mark the things she was really interested in also. The things I'm most excited to try are the Chicken and Coconut soup (Bangkok) and the Mushroom soup with Chive dumplings (Vienna).

I've only done the F&W festival once before but I remember getting there very hungry and so I bought things at the first few kiosks we came to and then later I was too full to try things that really sounded like I would have liked them better. I also thought it would be nice to know in advance what the country kiosk had instead of walking up and squinting to read the menu and the description.

I would also love to hear people's top picks after it starts but I'm a psycho planner so I couldn't wait to get started. We'll have to bump up this thread after it starts.

Have a great time,
Cathy

In our experience its important to have more than one day to spend at F&W. You need to start in one direction the first day and the opposite direction the second day.

Kingaloosh, I've never been during the F&WF, but I just did this too! Printed out a list of food, highlighted what I wanted to try, NUMBERED them in the order of importance, and then printed a map and circled each of the locations. My DH thinks I'm nuts, but I said he won't when he realizes how much money I save us by doing this!

I was at the F&W festival last year and the kielbasa and pierogies at Poland were fabulous!! Don't miss that booth for sure!! We will be there in 2 weeks!! I can't wait to get there!

Please tell all, I am so what to know!! we are going from the 7th of Oct to the 16th and I want to take In as much as the F&W as possiple.

Speaking of spreadsheets for F&W festival booths, has anyone seen the F&W Festival Score Cards this year yet? I make a little book with all my info for the trip and last year I added the score cards and they were invaluable! They had each stand, its location, the items it carried, their prices, and a rating.

Keebles,
I never heard of the score cards before but that sounds like something I would love to use. I hope someone knows where they are.

mchelle,
Where did you get the map?

thanks,
Cathy

Your not crazy or a psycho.... well if you are then I am too!!:rotfl: I made a flyer that folds in thirds and put on the F&W logo on the front for all of us going in Ocotber... inside it has all the kiosks and what they are serving...

I have never seen these score cards... tell us more... he determines the ratings.... ohhhhhhhh something new to play with... I am so excited.:yay:

Well, of course every link I could find to the cards was a dead one, so I just pasted one from photobucket for you to see:
