F&W Festival - Dining Plan?

OK, this may be a stupid question and I probably know the answer already, but am going to ask anyways.

Are any of the food items offered at the F&W Festival covered by the dining plan?

Trying to decide if it's worth heading to World Showcase to sample while being on the plan. Really don't want to spend extra money on food when we'll have more than enough food to eat on the plan.

The "official" answer is we don't know yet.

The "unofficial" answer is that for the past two or three years you could use snack credits for ANY food or non-alcoholic beverage item at the World Showcase kiosks, regardless of the cost of the item.

And they only accept snack credits, not CS or TS credits.

This will be our first time being at WDW during F&W. Looking forward to using some SC there! I will be taking pictures of the food we get.

We're hoping they continue the tradition of allowing snack credits at F&W booths also. I'm look forward to get the first reports once the festival starts.

I am also hoping that snack credits can be redeemed for F&W samples again this year. As stated, we don't know yet, but knowing that we are going to have a challenge using up our credits this year, I won't be purchasing too many extras OOP. Well I say that now - we'll see what happens when mouth-watering food is displayed in front of me

I was at Epcot today. The F&W booths won't open for a couple more days, but a few of them have the menu signs up already and they DO have the snack credit logo next to the food samples on the menus.

Someone on the Food & Wine thread got an e-mail from the festival coordinator confirming the use of snack credits for food items.
