So I just discovered today that the first day of the F&WF will be our last day in the parks - and we'll just happen to be in Epcot. I've never been to the F&WF so I'm pretty excited. :yay: I read most of the food is priced $1.50-$4.50....sooooo I was curious....can you possibly use snack credits for this? I'm thinking you probably can't, but I am just wondering. :confused3

Thanks!!

You could last year. You have to watch for the purple ddp symbol on the menu which indicates that it is allowed for that item.

We had exactly the opposite of your situation last year -- the first day of our trip was the last day of F&W.

As is my custom, of course, I was totally clueless but lucky. (My family crest is where people got the cliche "It's better to be lucky than good!") I had no idea F&W was going on, however I had scheduled us to spend the first day at Epcot for a variety of completely unrelated reasons.

We found that we were able to use snack credits for just about all of the "tapas" selections at the various booths.

The very best we had was the Lobster Roll at Good 'Ole U.S.A.! It was awesome. If I had it to do all over again, I would have parked at the US pavillion and done lobster rolls and Sam Adams all day long!

I was surprised that several of the "snacks" were valued at more than $4.50, and we used almost all of our snack credits for a five day trip that first day.

Snack credits at F&W are a beautiful thing. Check closer to your trip and see if you can use yours at F&W. If so, you are going to want to save them.

We did just this last year. We "parked" ourselves at USA and kept going back for more Lobster Rolls. They were $6.50 each, but you could use a snack credit for it. We had 19 saved up just for F&W and used just about all of them the day we went. The only thing you can't use the snack credits for are for alcoholic drinks. You have to purchase those.

DH & I will be going back and DH can't wait to go again! :yay: We will be there on the first day, 9/28, and will be going home on 9/30.:sad2:

We used ours for the loster roll too, they were great! I also like the shrimp on the barbie at Australia! :thumbsup2

We are hoping they allow this again this year. We are planning on saving our snack credits and using them for the Festival.:thumbsup2 :cool1:
