F&W and snack credits

I was at the Food & Wine Fest preview tonight.
I noticed that booths showed a Snack Credit emblem after some items (food and water).
I don't know if this is old news or not.

Well, we know they did this last year - but until your post, it wasn't 100% definite (at least not to me ) that snack credits could be used for F&W this year. Thank you!

Will be interesting to see how it works in reality this year. Someone posted a lobster roll, or something including lobster as a $6.50.

So I'm gonna assume not all snacks are covered by the credit.

We'll find out in early November....although I'm sure we'll hear more on the boards!

It was a statement, although I couldn't believe it when I read it.

I was looking over the booths. Are they REALLY gonna let me get the $6 lobster roll with a snack credit?!?

any of the food items are on DDP. None of the alcohol are. So yes... if the lobster roll is $6.00 then yes, it's on the snack credit.

I'm in WDW right now and F&W was pretty crowded as the afternoon/evening wore on.

I've read on the DVC board that some kiosk do not accept the DP.

Don't know about this year, but last year I didn't see one food kiosk that did not accept the DP...of course you can't use it for the beer and wine...{dangit}

DW and I returned to Reality World late last night from WDW.

Tons of Snacks abound around the WS and I posted the complete list of available food items at the booths in another thread. I don't know how to make it a "sticky" so you might have to look for the thread.

Oh, I meant to comment on the Lobster Roll... It was available as a Snack, valued around $6.75 (as I remember), and it was fantastic!!!
