How many days for F&W festival? We are looking at oct 29-nov9 this fall. This will be our first F&W festival experience. Thoses who have experienced F&W festival how should I plan my EPCOT days? Do I go with the hopper pass to spread it out or should a day do it? We usually spend a few hours at the world show case. What will the lines be like? The 6 month mark is coming up quick!!!

Typically F&W is more crowded on the weekends. Sat. 11/8, will be the last day of F&W so it will probably be pretty packed. The menus will be released towards the end of the summer. We always look at the menus ahead of time and pick out what we want to try. Really depends on your touring plan as to how many days you want to dedicate to it.

Good idea, I'll have check out the menus, and add it to the usual spots. We will be at EPCOT during the week to avoid the wkend crowds.

Do we have an educated guess for the dates for 2014?

I went last fall 11/6-11/10, and tried most of the food I wanted to in less than 3 hours, but I'd give it more time/days depending on the size of your group and what you want to do. I went on a Wednesday night so the lines were fine- at least for the booths I visited.

If they follow recent years, starting last Friday in Sep, ending second Monday in Nov. So in 2014, this would be approximately
9/26 to 11/10.

But this is subject to change we will not know for sure until the dates are officially announced.

In a perfect world I'd have 3-4 days. I'd like a day to participate in the cooking demonstrations in the festival center or do one of the longer lunches with a chef. Two days (afternoon and evening) spent eating and drinking my way around, skipping some each time but hitting most or all in the end. This way I'm not too full and I enjoy the food. We do this for one day currently and it is all lunch, dinner and usually we're full for breakfast the next morning!

A fourth day for dinner event with a chef would be great too. My problem is that you have to plan so far in advance for room (DVC) and restaurants but the festival guide doesn't come out until August. By then I've picked my dates and hoped they lined up with some good lunch/dinner special events. Last year we were there for three days only, mid week, and missed a Jiko Chef's dinner by one day and a lunch by one day on the other end.

Even so, its fun and just roll with it. We spend alot of time sitting, sharing plates, having drinks, people watching. Its my favorite time at Disney.

I'm using the dates from last year and the easywdw for information to get an idea of when it will be. My DH has corrected my dates an said we will be there oct 18-25. We will have our two young boys(2 & 3) with us so I'm looking at two days at EPCOT and just grazing no chef special moments with chefs for me this year. Looks like there is a lot that goes on so I'm going to start reading old blogs to get an idea of what it will be like.
