Genrally I am able to get from the fireworks to F! and still find a good spot. I like standing on the bridge by the treehouse. But last time I was in the park....it looked like that was a FP area. Is it where people are assigned or where they line up during the day to get them?
Can I still view from the bridge?
Thanks!!

As far as I know, the F! viewing areas on the PotC bridge are still reserved for the green FPs. Green is the second color group distributed (I think it goes yellows, then green, then blue). I don't think there is any standby viewing area on the bridge.

The last time I went, there weren't fp for F! :worried: When did that begin and where are they distributed?

They began using the FP system for F! last December (2014). The FPs are distributed on the Big Thunder Trail closer to Big Thunder Ranch. They distribute FPs for the first show first, then when those run out, they begin distribution for the second show. Unfortunately, you cannot select which show or color FP you get.

Thanks for this info! So is there now a " dining package" for it?

There are three dining packages...Blue Bayou, RBT, and Aladdin On-The-Go. BB and RBT have a dedicated viewing area, whereas the Aladdin On-the-Go gets a regular FP. Note that F! will be going dark starting on Jan 11 and its known whether any of these will be offered when F! returns (likely in 2017).

You don't have to get dining, unless you want to. I've done the Riverbelle Terrace dining (really enjoyed it, and the seating area is right in the middle - great spot) and the regular fastpass. We lined up at 8pm, and were standing room only up against the rail - again, great view. We just missed the seated area, so if we had got there at 7:30, we would have been able to watch it sitting down.

I loved the spontaneity of no fp's for Fantasmic. We haven't seen it since the fp's were implemented. Part of the reason I loved the DLR version over DHS was the ability to walk up close to start time (or after) and still enjoy the show. We probably won't see it again unless they make significant changes to it. We've seen it over 20 times easily.
